Super Bowl food specials and parties are happening all across our venues to celebrate the game that sports fans have been waiting all winter long for: Super Bowl XLVIII. The big game will see the Denver Broncos play the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday February 2nd 2014, and Bottleneck Management will be celebrating right there with you.
Firstly, Howells & Hood are presenting their first annual Chili Cook-Off, a.k.a. the #HHChiliBowl. Chili recipes from seven (yes, seven!) top Chicago chefs are competing for the title, and you can also win prizes by tasting the sampler and voting for your favorite, all whilst watching the game and selecting from the largest draft beer selection in Chicago.
Old Town Pour House will be offering Super Bowl food specials including Grilled Jumbo Wings, Pulled Pork Nachos and the daddy of all Super Bowl food; the “Super Burger” – a Tillamook cheddar stuffed 10 oz burger, 6 oz hot dog, thick cut buttermilk fried red onion, tomato jam, and roasted jalapeño aioli served on a kaiser bun. Oh, along with 84 beers on tap. Oh, and HUGE TVs! First come, first served reservations.
In Oak Brook, Old Town Pour House – Oak Brook is serving up in-house specials of Jamaican Jerk Chicken Sandwich, Thai BBQ Chicken Wings, and Buffalo Shrimp Quesadilla to complement their 90 tap handles, so you won’t go thirsty during the big game.
Meanwhile, over in Wicker Park, Boundary‘s delicious Super Bowl appetizers will be Buffalo Chicken Dip, Loaded Potato Skins, and… are you ready for this…? Bacon Wrapped Stuffed Jalapeños. Our 120+ beers will help you wash them down – make sure that you try some winter seasonal beers before they are gone!
Lastly, Sweetwater does a grand job of providing Super Bowl food and drink for the Mag Mile. Items include Fried Pickle Chips, Buffalo Shrimp Flatbread, and Pulled BBQ Pork Quesadilla. Don’t forget we have over 80 beers here, including our current rotating seasonal and the hard-to-find-in-Chicago: Surly Furious.
